United Kingdom (“BeSure”); and The Home Installations Services Provider. References to the ‘installer’ ‘contractor’ ‘engineer’ and ‘you’ are references to the person or company whom has entered into the agreement with us.

1.0 Amendments. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time and any changes will be notified to you via email and text. No further orders will be placed with you if you do not agree to the new terms or fail to sign them. If you agree to the new terms, these will take effect immediately.

1.1 How do customers buy boilers from BeSure? Customers visit the website, answer few simple questions about their home, and select from a list of suitable boilers via our website. Different quotes/boilers are shown to the customer depending on the answers they gave about their current system and the type of system they have requested. Customers complete the purchase via our office, a choose of payment method and select an installation date. Once they have completed the payment process, customers are then required to take photographs of their current system and send them to the team at BeSure. We do this to ensure that you have the correct products and suitable equipment to complete the job.

2. When a customer has completed their order and uploaded pictures of their current boiler and flue we will send you a notification asking your availability to install the job. You have the option to accept or decline the job, if this is not done quickly then it may be assigned to another installer. The materials for the job will be delivered the morning of the job unless stated otherwise by the BeSure office. On completion of the job you are required to upload several images to our system showing the completed job for our office team to verify.

2.1 If you cannot carry out the job on the agreed date, you must contact the BeSure office as soon as possible. This will allow us to reallocate the job to another engineer.

3.0 On some occasions you may be required to collect the material for the job from the local merchants to the job, you will be notified in this case by email from the BeSure office. Please make sure the items you collect match up with the purchase order you are sent.

3.1 Materials BeSure will supply - the boiler, the flue, a controller (where required), a boiler filter (where required) and chemicals. Contractors are to supply – Copper fittings, Condense plastics, sundry fixings, and other fittings.

4.0 Any changes to the order on the day of installation which you consider to be outside of the scope of what has been agreed, you must call the BeSure team before carrying out any work. We will not accept invoices for additional works which have been undertaken without the consent of the office team. The team will work with you to try and come to a solution for the customer, and we will advise the customer directly of the additional costs and organise the payment of this. You must not take payment onsite for any additional work. If no solution can be agreed for the customer, we will cancel the job. No payments will be paid to the contractor if this is the case.

4.1 Additional requested works. If the customer would like any additional jobs completing, such as radiators / plumbing work which are outside of the scope of works as agreed with BeSure, you the contractor are permitted to liaise with the customer on quoting and completing the works directly.

5.0 Subcontracting Works. Subcontracting is not permitted. Customers are given the name of who to expect on the day, and any installer found to be subcontracting will be removed from the BeSure installer list.

5.1 Customers cancelling a job. If a customer cancels a job, BeSure will contact you as soon as possible. We will do our best to find another job to replace the lost work, however this isn’t

guaranteed. We do not pay any form of cancellation compensation.

6.0 Taking payment from customers. All payments for the agreed works are collected by BeSure. Any additional payments for anything which arises on the day will also be collected by BeSure. At no point will we ever ask you to handle any payments from customers.

7.0 Installation standards and meeting regulations. It is the responsibility of the installer to ensure that all gas safety regulations and manufacturer regulations are adhered to at all times when carrying out works on behalf of BeSure. Please ensure that you check and survey the existing system before beginning work to ensure that everything is safe for you to carry out the work. The installer agrees to ensure that the new install meets all industry safety, compliance and building regulations. Any issues found to arise from non-compliance of safety regulations will be the responsibility of the installer.

7.1 On completion of the job you will need to upload completed images, you will be asked to provide several images of the completed job for the BeSure team to review prior to payment via our crm app.

7.2 How to invoice for completed jobs. On completion of the job you must send your invoices to installations@besure.group - please include your company details, bank account and sort code. Payment will be made as per payment schedule of the completed job.

7.3 Expenses. The cost of travel and sustenance are the responsibility of the installer. We do not accept expenses invoices unless expressly agreed with the BeSure office beforehand.

8.0 Waste disposal. It is the responsibility of the engineer to dispose of any redundant parts/materials/packaging from the customer’s home and leave the area clean and tidy. Header tanks may be left in the property if they exceed the loft hatch size but must be fully drained down, try to remove them when practical to do so. All waste must be disposed of in a correct and proper manner. Contractors are responsible for maintaining their own waste carrier license.

9.0 Damage to customer or public property. If you cause any damage during an installation to a customer’s OR public property you must contact the BeSure team immediately. The damage is the responsibility of the contractor and your insurance provider. Any damage caused by burst pipes as a result of pressuring the system is the responsibility of the customer. The customer signs terms and conditions to this effect before purchasing from BeSure. You as the contractor however are bound to survey the pipes before pressuring a system in order to minimise the risk of this happening.

10.0 Insurance. In order to become a BeSure installer you must provide a copy of a suitable insurance policy which covers you and your business. If your insurance lapses during the time of being a BeSure installer we will remove you from the installer list until you can provide an up to date policy document.

11.0 Qualifications. In order to become a BeSure installer we will require you to provide proof of your training and qualification certificates. If during the time you are working with BeSure you gain any new qualifications, please contact the BeSure team and we can add these to your profile, this could result in you receiving more jobs from BeSure. It is your responsibility to keep BeSure informed of any changes to your certifications and licenses. Failure to inform BeSure of any expired/lapsed documentation on your qualifications/ certifications / licenses will result in your removal from the BeSure installer list.

12.0 Terminating your account/contract with BeSure. If you wish to be removed from the BeSure installer list please just contact the BeSure team who can do this for you immediately.
